The Regional Club (14)
Situated in the Central Berkshire area, Region 14 of the Pike Anglers club at Reading have access, subject to local angling club permits, to the River Thames and its tributaries, including the River Kennet and the Kennet and Avon canal. Also there are numerous mature Gravel pits available since materials have been extracted from the ground since the fifties and sixties leaving us with a wonderful selection of water expanses. Members from all over the Thames Valley meet up once a month at the Englefield Social Club, The Street, Englefield, Reading, Berkshire. RG7 5ES.
We welcome anyone who enjoys pike fishing whether you are a novice, experienced angler, or just about to start out trying to catch one of the UK's fiercest predatory fish, come along and pick up or pass on some tips. We would urge anyone who has never fished for pike or has little experience to come along, despite their predatory nature they are quite a frail fish and need careful handing to avoid damage, both to themselves and to you. You can find all our dates and info here on the site.
